I finally watched Dove's real beautyfilm and I LOVE it. Also, I really love Mr. Emerson's take on beauty. I think it would be pretty awesome if the talented Kelly Cummings added this quote to her 365 days of lettering project.

This weekend was really nice. For the first time in a while I approached Friday afternoon with the sole purpose of having fun and living a little more. Without a crazy list of to-do's to tackle, I decided to finally take Lara's challenge and complete my first intentional social-media-free-weekend. For me, this meant opting out of instagram and facebook for two whole days - Saturday and Sunday. I know it seems like a silly feat but this experience was truly refreshing. Instead of spending down time in the grocery store line to catch up on the latest status updates, I actually observed the world happening around me. The simple act of breaking the cycle allowed me to focus more on what matters.
Life is short. Luckily, this weekend reminded me how to live in the moment. Yes, to enjoy this very second - RIGHT NOW.
