It's beginning to feel like the holidays in our abode. I have to say that I am really enjoying my interpretation of holiday this year. I reused the branches from our wedding wishing tree to create a more modern rendition of a christmas tree. I am pleased with how the monochromatic ornaments and branches look against the cool paint color of our living area.
On this cold, sunny december day I can appreciate the soft, warm texture of our stockings. At times I found myself wanting to slip the stockings directly onto my feet to keep warm. Don't worry; I resisted.
This holiday season I wanted to be a little more experimental with my gift wrapping technique. Right now, I am digging the classic look of craft paper paired with manilla shipping tags.
